Captain Fuor

Participation terms for the Captain Fuor online leaderboard

Upcoming first Android edition with optional online leaderboard; not yet available.

Version 0.1.0 · Updated: 4 November 2026

1. Provider and scope

The provider is schukai, Eichenstraße 26, 82290 Landsberied, Germany. Contact: hey@schukai.com. Full provider information: https://www.schukai.com/de/impressum.

These terms cover the optional online leaderboard in the Android edition of Captain Fuor. They and the applicable privacy notice are provided before joining; you agree to these terms through your explicit participation selection. This does not change earlier game purchases or additional promised benefits. Publishing this text does not activate an app feature.

2. The game and voluntary online participation

Normal gameplay does not require our leaderboard server. Not participating or closing the leaderboard does not affect your local saves, personal bests or agreed unlocks. Using the game still requires a supported device environment. Statutory rights and required updates remain unaffected.

The leaderboard described here is offered without a separate participation fee. You actively choose whether to participate before the first submission. You can continue playing without participating. These terms do not replace your game purchase or any later additional purchases. The usage rights promised for those purchases remain in place.

3. Entries and fair participation

Your best single accepted arcade run per rules version counts, not a sum of runs. Daily lists use the UTC day of first successful acceptance; an all-time list is also available. There are no seasons, gameplay timer, equipment filter or prizes. Equipment earned in play or legitimately acquired is equally eligible; purchase amounts or merely credited currency do not earn points. This edition has no in-app purchases. The server calculates points from a checked event log. It does not prove actual hits, human input or an unmodified app; this is not full replay verification. An entry guarantees neither a rank nor that it will remain unchanged.

Submit only results from permitted gameplay. Manipulated submissions, unauthorised interference and bypassing protective measures are prohibited. A signature or plausibility check does not promise complete cheat detection. In-game purchases do not guarantee a rank.

4. Restrictions and human review

We may investigate, correct or remove particular entries and restrict online participation for serious or repeated breaches. Measures must have objective grounds and be proportionate to the case. A leaderboard restriction does not prevent normal local gameplay.

Where a decision concerns illegal content or a breach of the rules, we explain the measure, its reasons and duration, the use of automated methods and the available review routes. Applicable notification and statement-of-reasons requirements remain unaffected. You can request a human review through hey@schukai.com. A technical error message alone does not explain a moderation decision.

5. Reports and contact

Send reports and requests to hey@schukai.com. This electronic reporting route is available without leaderboard participation and is made accessible in the app. Identify the entry or its precise location and explain your concern. For potentially illegal content, provide reachable contact details and state that, to the best of your knowledge, the information is accurate and complete. Do not send a private key or deletion code. You may omit unnecessary personal details.

We handle reports diligently, objectively and promptly. Where required, you receive an acknowledgement and information about the decision and available redress. Statutory exceptions for particular reports are respected. Reporting does not incur participation fees.

6. Duration and planned closure

Participation has no fixed minimum duration unless a longer operating period or different rights were promised for the particular offer. No unlimited operating period is promised for the additional service.

schukai may terminate the additional leaderboard for a game or the shared service on objectively justified grounds. These include operation becoming persistently economically unsustainable, taking account of necessary operating, security and support costs and revenue attributable to the offer. A short-term revenue fluctuation alone does not justify immediate planned closure. Previously promised periods and statutory rights are not shortened.

We inform you at least 60 days before a planned closure. The information states the reason, date, affected functions, remaining gameplay, handling of data and, where applicable, your statutory rights. Legally required individual information or information on a durable medium is provided in the required form. Merely changing a website does not replace that information. Longer binding notice periods continue to apply.

7. Interruptions and urgent measures

Temporary interruptions and necessary maintenance are distinct from permanent closure. Where possible, we explain their scope and likely consequences. An immediate security risk, mandatory law or a binding official order may require protective measures at short notice. They remain limited to what is necessary; an economically planned closure does not thereby become a security measure.

8. Ending participation and data

You may stop submitting at any time. “Delete online data” ends participation and deletes the identity, open attempts, logs, runs and best scores from the live service. The app removes its participation key only after confirmation. The deletion code shown when joining and later in the app also allows deletion without an account at https://api.captain-fuor.schukai.com/delete. Keep it separately from your device; uninstalling alone does not delete online data. Without the key or code, contact hey@schukai.com: we assess reliable identification using proportionate additional information, without unnecessary data or routine identity-document demands. A public callsign alone is insufficient. If identification is impossible, we explain this and further options; statutory rights are not denied wholesale. Recovery of deleted identities or ranks is not generally promised.

The applicable privacy information provided before participation explains which data the service processes, what is public and how deletion, backups and retention work. Closure does not remove existing data protection rights. It neither automatically deletes local game data nor creates a right to unlimited publication of former online entries.

9. Statutory rights and new versions

Statutory rights concerning defects, updates, refunds and termination, and mandatory rights under applicable local law, remain unaffected. These terms contain no blanket exclusion of refunds or waiver of rights already acquired.

A new version does not become part of existing contracts merely by being published or because you continue playing. Changes require the applicable valid agreement or legal basis. Applicable information and termination rights are respected. Translations aim to convey the same content; no language overrides mandatory rights or a validly agreed contract language.
