We develop our own software

Our software is meant to help people make more of their ideas. Today we focus on sales, order processing and collaboration, as well as on our own apps. New products emerge wherever software lets us solve tasks more simply.

If you wish, we set up the software, connect your existing systems and develop whatever is missing.

Maker and implementer in one

Shopcloud is the package for your online shop, Workspace the complete system: customers, orders, tasks, product data, documents and records in one data set. Our apps solve individual tasks, for example time tracking or goods receipt.

You notice that we are the maker when a feature is missing: if it fits the product, we can develop it there and then maintain it as part of the product. For extensions built exclusively for you, we agree on maintenance in advance.

How we test our software

We publish new releases regularly. That works because every change has to pass through the same gate: more than 17,000 automated tests, a security check of the changed files, tests against a real database – and a complete upgrade run from the last published release to the new one. New code without tests is rejected.

Almost half of our code consists of tests. On top of that come 678 documented architecture decisions and 916 documentation pages in German and English. This keeps technical decisions and changes traceable. (as of October 2026)

The same principle applies on your system: an update first creates a backup, restores it as a test and checks the target release in read-only mode before switching over.

What software should handle by itself in future

We are driven by the question of how much software will be able to do by itself in future. We want to develop software that increasingly carries out connected processes on its own. People set the goals, rules and permissions.

For each application, we agree with our customers which tasks automated workflows, algorithms or agents take on, which data they can access, which model runs where – with us or on a server on the customer’s premises – and when an employee decides or takes over.

Run it yourself instead of being tied to our operations

Software that carries your orders should not depend on a particular provider running it. That is why our software can run on your servers: as a single program with a database. Releases are signed and verifiable, installation is documented, and every update tests its own recovery before switching over.

Your procurement team can check these points against the documentation.

Clear responsibility beyond go-live

You have a dedicated contact person with us. They coordinate business and technical questions with you and our developers.

Before the contract, we discuss which features you get with the product, what we set up and what we develop in addition. We also agree who operates, maintains and later adapts the software.

What should be created or run better?

Tell us about your project. We check whether an existing product fits and what additional work is needed.
