Planning with a team calendar
In the team calendar, team leads see who is absent when. Minimum staffing hints show early on which day things get tight.
Features · Organisation & collaboration
Your employees request leave in their profile and see immediately how many days they have left. Team leads decide with the team calendar in view, and HR manages leave accounts with carry-over and corrections. Every change appears as a separate entry in the account.

Your employee selects the type of absence and the period in their profile. The request reserves the days in the leave account.
Workspace presents the request to the direct line manager. If none is set, the responsible group from the employment contract can decide.
The team lead checks the team calendar with the staffing hints and approves the request or rejects it with a reason.
On approval, the leave counts as taken, and paid absences are credited to working time.
Nobody approves their own request. If the line management is unclear, the request waits until responsibility has been clarified.
Team leads see what they need for management and approval. Leave accounts, corrections and payroll-related details remain reserved for HR.
If an employment contract changes, Workspace does not overwrite existing annual accounts. HR books any difference as a correction.
If a carry-over exceeds the defined upper limit, Workspace requires explicit confirmation.
Public holidays follow from the holiday region of the place of work. Team and HR views then determine each person’s working days.
Approval, rejection and cancellation follow a fixed workflow. Later, it is clear who decided what, when and how.
On the cut-off date, the closing report shows remaining leave, open days and expiring entitlements for each person. The HR operations view brings together special cases such as sickness during leave, unpaid absences and outstanding evidence. A readiness check shows whether absence types, leave rules and leave accounts are fully set up.
If you wish, Workspace checks recorded working hours against rule packages for Germany, Austria and Switzerland in the general case, for example for maximum working hours, breaks and rest periods. Anomalies appear as a notice, and clocking in continues regardless. You activate the applicable rule package yourself after reviewing it professionally.
With the schukai Time Tracking app, your employees clock in, take breaks and clock out and see their balance and absences.

No. Workspace makes anomalies visible and records which rule version was used for the check. We discuss collective agreements, rules for young workers and the specifics of your industry with you before implementation. The legal assessment remains with your legal adviser.
We give you the price in an offer, because it depends on the scope of your project.
