Privacy policy for Captain Fuor

0.1.2

Document version 0.1.2 · Updated: 3 November 2026

Provider and contact

Captain Fuor is a game by JourneyBit Studio, a games label of schukai. The responsible provider is schukai, Eichenstraße 26, 82290 Landsberied, Germany. For privacy questions and app support, contact hey@schukai.com. Provider information: https://www.schukai.com/en/imprint. The game is designed for adults aged 18 and over.

Your game stays on your device

You do not need an account. Captain Fuor stores only your best score with the contract reached, your unlocked ships and chosen ship, your music, sound effect and autofire settings, and the fact that you have already seen the intro. This information stays in the app's private storage on your device.

Captain Fuor has no game server and does not transmit this information to schukai. The app does not request internet permission and contains no advertising, analytics or crash reporting services. It does not request access to location, contacts, camera, microphone or photos. The vibration permission is used only for feedback in the game.

Retention and deletion

The local information remains stored until you clear the app's storage in the Android settings or uninstall the app. Uninstalling usually removes the app's private data.

When you contact support

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use it to answer your request. Support information is not collected from the game automatically.

We process correspondence to handle requests about the app or a contract on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, and other requests on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering them under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We keep correspondence for as long as necessary to handle it and to meet statutory retention duties. Information on support services and their providers is available at https://www.schukai.com/en/privacy.

Your privacy rights

Where the GDPR applies and its conditions are met, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it for the future. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.

For data held by schukai, you can exercise these rights via hey@schukai.com. We have no access to game data stored only on your device and cannot delete it remotely. Use the app storage in the Android settings for that.

Website and later changes

Opening a website or sending an email is an explicit action outside the local game. The privacy information at https://www.schukai.com/en/privacy applies to website visits.

The app itself contains no in-app purchases. Buying the app is handled by Google Play, which processes the purchase under Google's terms and privacy information. schukai receives no game data from this and no card, bank, or other payment-method details. If new features change data processing, the privacy information and store declarations will be updated accordingly.

Further privacy rights and material changes

schukai does not sell personal data.

The data processing and contact channels described in this notice also apply when the app is used outside Germany. Mandatory rights under applicable privacy law remain available and are not limited to the GDPR rights expressly mentioned here. Depending on the applicable law and its conditions, these may include confirmation of processing, access, correction, deletion, anonymisation or blocking of data processed unlawfully or no longer needed, data portability, objection and withdrawal of consent. Requests concerning data processed by schukai can be sent to hey@schukai.com. You may also complain to a competent data protection authority.

Where the Brazilian LGPD applies to the processing, its rights remain available, including confirmation and access, correction, anonymisation, blocking or deletion of unnecessary, excessive or unlawfully processed data, statutory data portability, information about recipients and about the possibility and consequences of refusing consent, withdrawal of consent and consent-related deletion. Statutory exceptions and retention duties continue to apply. Requests can be submitted through the privacy contact above; the right to complain to the ANPD remains unaffected.

If the processing described here changes materially, we will expressly inform affected users about the change, when it starts, its consequences and the relevant rights. For changes to an app function, a prominent in-app notice will be provided before the affected processing starts. Where a service or support change also affects older app versions, we will additionally ensure suitable direct notice through an existing contact or service channel that may lawfully be used, in good time before the change starts. Quietly changing a website or merely publishing an update is insufficient for this purpose. Where consent is required, it will be obtained before the processing that depends on it. A privacy notice does not constitute agreement to a contractual amendment.
