Answer
Workspace can connect organisations, locations, contact persons and related cases in one shared working view. These can include quotes, orders, documents, tasks, statuses and next steps. Which fields are actually maintained depends on the starting area and the existing systems. An uncontrolled copy of all ERP and CRM data would be neither necessary nor clear.
What matters is the relationship between information and work: staff should be able to see which case is open, who is responsible and which documents belong to it. Leading master data can come from the ERP, while Workspace is responsible for additions or the process status. The data model also takes several locations, roles and contact persons into account where the process requires it.
