Answer
Shopcloud is a commerce foundation developed by schukai for projects in which the product model, pricing logic, ordering process or system connections have lasting special requirements. It can provide shared business data for several front ends, such as a shop, a customer portal or an app. This means core business rules do not have to be rebuilt in every front end.
Shopcloud is not an off-the-shelf construction kit with the same scope in every project. Available building blocks, integrations, operating model and any custom development required are checked before we commit. Standard services such as payment or shipping can still be connected. The benefit is not in building everything yourself, but in keeping the distinctive commerce core under control.
