Answer
Offline work can buffer scans and bookings locally. Stock levels and reservations, however, need special care: two devices must not independently and bindingly allocate the same last unit. Some actions can be prepared offline but only completed after the server confirms them. Other processes need a local, pre-allocated quantity or a clearly limited work area.
The interface must distinguish between captured, sent and confirmed by the business logic. Conflicts create a visible case for clarification. For critical stock movements, requiring a connection can make more sense than an apparently complete offline function. The right rule depends on the potential damage, network quality and warehouse organisation; it is tested with real interruptions.
