Each third-party system is connected via a clearly defined data flow. First, leading systems and business states are set: When does an order count as accepted? When is stock reserved? Who creates the invoice and the shipping status? Then suitable APIs, webhooks, files or existing connectors are chosen.
Payment and marketplace events can arrive repeatedly, late or in an unexpected order. Processing therefore needs stable identifiers, signature verification, controlled retries and visible cases for clarification. An external service also remains an operational dependency with its own costs and changes. schukai documents these limits and does not promise “seamless integration” before the specific provider’s documentation and testing options have been reviewed.
