Yes, this information can be part of a job. It is not just the input screen that needs looking at, though. Times need a start, end, breaks, corrections and, where applicable, approval. Materials have to be checked against item, quantity and availability. Photos need a link to the case, the context in which they were taken and a clear separation between original and edited version. For signatures, it must be defined exactly what is being confirmed.
A customer signature does not automatically make all documentation legally watertight or unassailable. Text, time, identity and the opportunity to review must suit the purpose. schukai can generate the technical record and report; special legal requirements must be checked separately. For the technician, capture should still remain short and ask only for the data that will actually be used later.
