Answer
Completeness depends on the channel and the product. A marketplace may require different attributes from your own B2B shop; a dangerous goods item needs additional documents. Instead of a single global tick, traceable rules are defined: mandatory fields, valid media, translations, price status, approvals and technical checks.
The system can show missing or contradictory details and assign tasks. Publication should only take place once the rules required for the target channel are met or an authorised person approves a documented exception. Automatic checks do not replace every business judgement, but they reduce the search for gaps. Workspace can add this work and approval part, while the ERP or PIM remains the leading system.
