Answer
If the app needs user accounts, shared data, roles, device changes or a connection to company systems, the back end and data flow are part of the overall system. An attractive mobile interface alone does not answer where data is stored authoritatively, who may see it and what happens during simultaneous editing or an interrupted transfer.
Some apps deliberately do without a back end. A local single-user app without an account or server can be simpler, more data-efficient and cheaper in the long term. But as soon as several devices need the same state, identity, synchronisation, conflicts, encryption, deletion and operation must be clarified. schukai clarifies these decisions early and makes the follow-up costs visible. “Back end included” is therefore not a blanket item but a clearly defined part of the offer with its own operational responsibility.
