Yes. An agency can lead on brand, design, content and the customer relationship, while schukai builds the application, back end and interfaces. An ERP or IT partner can be responsible for the leading existing system and the infrastructure, while schukai adds working interfaces, data flows or apps. Another software company can also get additional capacity for a clearly defined part.
A prerequisite is a clearly written boundary of responsibility. Who decides business questions? Who talks to the customer? Who provides access and the test environment? Who operates and supports which component? Without this clarity, integration errors are easily passed back and forth between partners.
