Website and technical processing
When you visit, we process necessary connection data, including IP address, time, requested page and supplied browser/device information, to deliver the site and protect against abuse. The website and Nucleus system run on DigitalOcean infrastructure in Frankfurt am Main. United Domains provides DNS; requested domain, time and the querying resolver's network address may be processed. The basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in an available, secure website.
Forms send their data to the website over HTTPS; no account is required. Hidden fields and, for contact/support, completion time help prevent spam on the same basis. This does not read local app courses or licensing keys.
Contact and support
We process your name, email address, optional company/device count, message, subject and information you include. Language and page address may help route enquiries to the responsible sales/support group in Nucleus. This support form issues no public reply links.
We use this information to handle and answer your enquiry: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual/precontractual requests; Article 6(1)(f) for other enquiries, our interest in answering messages addressed to us. An enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter. Do not send passwords, complete purchase receipts or confidential course content.
Newsletter and evidence
The newsletter is optional. We process email address, chosen language/list, subscription and confirmation information. Double opt-in provides for a confirmation message; the requested newsletter may be sent only after confirmation. Evidence may include the consent wording/version, time, IP address and browser identifier. Confirmation links expire; expiry does not automatically delete all evidence.
Sending relies on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link or hey@schukai.com, without affecting earlier lawful processing. The address is then no longer used for that newsletter. Necessary consent/withdrawal evidence and limited suppression records support proof and prevention of unwanted sending under Article 6(1)(f), or an applicable legal duty under (c). They are not continuing marketing consent.
Recipients and retention
Responsible people within schukai receive task-based access. DigitalOcean receives data for the hosting described above; United Domains for DNS. Email uses the mail platform operated by schukai in Germany; your chosen email provider also receives messages during delivery. A European server location does not automatically exclude access outside the EEA. DigitalOcean’s Data Processing Agreement forms part of its terms of service for processing on our behalf. For transfers to the USA, that agreement primarily provides for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. If the framework becomes invalid or recertification fails, the incorporated EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply as the contractual fallback. Ask hey@schukai.com for further information about applicable safeguards.
Contact/support retention follows handling and any subsequent business relationship. Newsletter data supports the requested subscription; separate evidence/suppression records remain only as necessary for their stated purposes. Operational/security purposes determine technical-data retention. Legal retention duties or specific legal claims may prevent immediate deletion; affected data is limited to what is necessary. Backup rotation and reapplying deletions after restoration remain necessary.
Your rights and language
Subject to legal conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability. Object to legitimate-interest processing on grounds relating to your situation, and to direct marketing at any time without reasons. Withdraw consent prospectively. Complain to a supervisory authority, including the Bavarian Data Protection Authority.
Forms are optional; without necessary contact details we cannot reply. No automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects is made.
