Two contractual areas
The terms depend on the specific contract. A company obtains software or services for its business activities. A private individual, by contrast, may use a publicly offered app for private purposes.
The sales channel alone does not decide this. For example, employees may use an app on the basis of a company contract, or the app may be offered as a stand-alone consumer product.
Contracts with business customers
The general contractual terms for business customers form the common basis. Depending on the order, special terms are added:
- Software projects for analysis, implementation, customisation and development
- Cloud and SaaS services for hosted software and operations
- Licence and maintenance for software operated by the customer
- Support and service for agreed support packages and service classes
- Processing on behalf of customers, where schukai processes personal data on a customer’s behalf
The specific offer and the product or service sheet determine which modules apply and which service is owed.
The English texts are translations for information only. Only the German versions are legally binding.
Apps for private users
Publicly offered consumer apps have their own legal area. It brings together the current product terms, the privacy policy, the support channel and earlier versions. For organisation apps that only work with access provided by an employer or client, the underlying business customer contract applies instead.
The overview of app terms (in German) leads to PickQueue, OshiYa, raus and WithinCells as well as to the end-user notices for Workspace and Proofara. The legal areas are linked to the respective product pages. A general B2B clause is not thereby extended to private app users.
General information
Applicable contract version
The version agreed for a specific contract applies to that contract. A later publication on this website does not replace a contract version that has already been agreed.
Versioned app terms and privacy policies remain available as a record, even if an offer is discontinued later.
