Work with mail

Workspace combines personal mail and shared team mailboxes in one work surface. You do not manage a deep folder tree. Instead, you decide which messages deserve attention.

Screen new senders

Open Mail > The Screener. Every unknown sender starts here.

  • Move to Focus keeps important conversations in your active work.
  • Move to Feed collects useful but non-urgent mail.
  • Treat as receipt separates invoices and confirmations.
  • Block sender rejects future messages from that sender.

The decision belongs to the mailbox. A shared mailbox therefore shares the decision with its team.

Work as a team

A shared mailbox gives authorized members the same work state and assignment. Seen status remains personal.

Choose Take it to assign the shared conversation to yourself. For me then shows your assigned conversations. Follow up creates a personal reminder through the existing follow-up calendar contract.

Internal notes are encrypted Storage objects too. They inherit the thread ACL and are never sent to external recipients.

New members see messages received after they joined. Older content requires an explicit, audited history grant.

Select New mail, a sender mailbox, and recipients. The editor automatically saves drafts encrypted in Storage and exposes them only to their author. You can attach Storage objects you are allowed to read. Sending stores the complete RFC822 message durably and creates one reference-based envelope job for each recipient.

Search uses tenant- and field-separated blind-index tokens. Workspace checks Storage permissions before returning results. It does not keep a plaintext subject or body copy in the search database.

Connect other work areas

Choose Send to Inbox to create an explicit item in the general Inbox. The item references the same Storage object; Workspace does not copy mail content.

Local assist asks the existing AI router for a summary and a suggested reply. Central PII routing policy applies. Workspace never sends the suggestion or changes recipients automatically.

Archived conversations remain searchable. Trash is initially a logical work state; physical Storage deletion requires the separate retention and purge contract. External IMAP, POP3, and JMAP clients are outside the product contract.
