Personal documentation version and feedback
You can adapt a documentation page for yourself or submit a short rating. Your personal version appears immediately in the same browser. It does not change the public documentation.
Edit a personal version
Select Edit page next to Start at the top of the page. The full-page editor displays the Markdown text and preview side by side. Tables and the documentation-specific screenshot syntax appear as they do on the published page. For security, the personal preview loads only approved screenshot paths from this documentation. It displays raw HTML and external image URLs as text. After saving, this browser loads your version when you visit the page again. The Personal changes badge above the page content shows that you are viewing your personal version rather than the public one.
If the public page changes, Workspace compares both versions with the revision on which your edit was based. Changes in different places are combined. If both versions change the same place, you see a conflict notice and can review the text yourself.
Send feedback
Under Did this page help?, select Yes, Partly, or No. You can submit Yes directly and receive a thank-you message. For Partly and No, you can select reasons and add a short note. After saving, the input controls disappear and a thank-you message confirms your rating.
Privacy and rights
The first time you open Edit page, the applicable privacy information and licence terms appear before the editor. The two confirmations are stored separately and then apply to further pages and ratings in this browser. If you already accepted the privacy terms when submitting feedback, editing asks only for the missing licence confirmation. You are asked again only after the respective terms change or you withdraw your confirmation.
You retain your copyright and other rights. The initial review licence only allows the documentation team to assess your contribution. A permanent documentation licence applies only to the part that is actually and verifiably adopted after review. The consent dialog contains the approved English translations and explains that the German versions prevail in the event of a discrepancy. The linked general privacy notice provides further information.
Delete contributions
Select Delete my saved contributions to withdraw consent and delete the personal versions and feedback associated with this browser. The server data is deleted and cannot be recovered through this feature.
If a contribution has already been fully adopted into the public documentation, only a minimal licence record remains. It contains neither a browser identifier nor the raw draft.
Verify the result
After saving, your personal version and the Personal changes badge appear on the page. Other browsers still show the public version. After deletion and a reload, you see only the public documentation again and the badge is no longer visible.
