Use the groupware calendar
Use the groupware calendar to manage personal and shared appointments while viewing follow-ups, projects, tasks, contracts, compliance dates, logistics dates, and birthdays in the same workspace. Domain projections remain read-only and authoritative in their source application.
Open Profile > Calendar. Switch between month, week, day, and agenda. You can create and edit appointments, drag or resize them, add recurrence rules, participants, privacy, locations, and reminders. Resource requests may be accepted automatically or wait for manager approval.
Select internal participants from the current tenant, enter external participants by email, and choose rooms or equipment when your role may list calendar resources. Appointments organized by another member appear in the Invitations source. Open an invitation to accept, tentatively accept, or decline it; invited appointments remain read-only for the attendee. External participants receive a single-use response link by email. The link opens an unauthenticated response page and becomes invalid after the first successful response.
Choose Import ICS to load one complete VEVENT. Preview the title, time, location, and recurrence rule first. Previewing does not write data; the separate import action creates the appointment. Invalid files and calendars containing multiple events are rejected.
Connect a client through /.well-known/caldav with a dedicated CalDAV client credential. Each projection appears as a separate read-only collection. Private and confidential details remain hidden from delegates unless the calendar owner explicitly grants access.
The setup works when browser and CalDAV clients show the same persisted appointments, read-only projections cannot be edited, and resource conflicts are rejected.
